Request Funding
Short-term Project Grants
This avenue of funding supports well-defined, community projects lasting less than six (6) months, that support causes within NFF's mission and are designed to achieve a specific and measurable goal. Applications must be submitted at least sixty (60) days prior to the start of the project. Grants range from $1,000 to $5,000.
General Funding Grants
This avenue of funding is for all grant requests that do not meet the criteria for Event Sponsorship or Short-term Project, and for any request that exceeds $5,000.
The grant application window is January 1st through September 30th of each calendar year. All requests received will be considered by NFF's Board of Directors. All applicants will be notified of the Board’s decision by March 15th of the following calendar year, with approved recipients receiving funding by March 31st.
